Testimonials

I can never thank you all enough for your kindness, understanding and professionalism before, during and after my recent. Surgery. Your explanations of what I now know was a very complex procedure gave me comfort and made a trying ordeal seem almost routine! Thank you again for all that you have done for me.

I cannot say enough to thank you. I brag to everyone about my surgery, and that you are the best, the sweetest, the most sincere person I have met. To me you’re everything because you gave me back my life. I have to say next to my husband and my kids, you mean the world to me. Thanks again.

I want to tell you how grateful I am to have you for my doctor. I have almost no pain left and my legs have gotten stronger. I can’t believe I wasted two years, I really was scared. I want to tell you the treatment you gave to me made me feel I was a family member, not a patient. The closeness gave me confidence to have you operate.

Thank you for caring and giving my son-in-law such great care. Today, so many patients are numbers to doctors. It is wonderful to have a caring person like you.

Thank you for your injections that have helped me to walk again and live without pain. I was so nervous at the time of the first injection but you were so skillful and had a calming demeanor, I couldn’t believe how well it all went.

Thank you for all your kindness and dedication. You are an asset to your profession. You are well appreciated and deserve all the best wishes in the world. God bless you!

This note is many months late, but I just had to express my thanks to you for my freedom from pain and the ability to once again walk. Each day that passes I thank my God and you for getting me back on my feet and driving again. I am now 87 and know that if again I need a surgeon with your skills I know where to call. Again my heartfelt thanks.

You are a man of great skills and you have a great heart, along with deep dedication to your patients, You found and removed a tumor on my brain. I am feeling fine now because of you. My family and I need to say Thank You for saving my life. You will always be in our prayers. God Bless You.

You have always been there for me. When I had questions you answered them for me. When I’m in pain you care and do whatever it takes to make it better. Since 1997 you have been there for me both physically and mentally! You have been more to me than just my doctor. You continue to go above and beyond the call of duty. You have never let me know. I have been so blessed to have you in my life. I do hope you know just how very much you mean to me.

Thank you for the care and expertise of your services. I do not know if you are a religious man, but I feel that you have a tremendous gift for healing and I appreciate all you’ve done: let me walk with my child on the beach; allow me to feel confident in making the decision to have surgery; ridding me of debilitating pain. Enjoy this holiday season and best wishes. I hope all of the happiness you allow to happen for people returns tenfold to you.

Thank you for giving me back my life. Before I came here, I thought I would spend the rest of my life in pain and possibly in a wheelchair. Thank you for changing that.

Someone who takes the time to think of other people’s needs and warms so many hearts with gentle words and thoughtful deeds. Someone who can always chase a little cloud away and add a bit of fun, a ray of sun to every day. Someone who sincerely tries to understand and sympathize. Someone who’s glad to share so glad to help and give and care. It’s wonderful to know someone who always wears a smile, who sees the sunny side of things, who makes life so worthwhile. It’s wonderful to have a chance like this to tell you, too. The world would be a better place, if more people were like you.

Thank you so much for the care you gave me during my surgery on February 2 and the next ten days while I was in the hospital. I appreciated your kindness and compassion very much.

Your generosity and friendship will never be forgotten. Your late night visits meant so much to her that I would get calls in the middle of the night saying, “Guess who just came to see me? Dr. Sathi.” You always made her day. What you did for her for 14 months can never be repayed in any way. Your phone calls to me got me through many nights, talking about her procedures. I can only say think you. It was a pleasure to meet you and I will never forget you.

I still have the same name I had before my accident on 6/28/03 but I am now a different person. The accident I was involved in changed me physically and emotionally. Immediately after this trauma, I laid in S.I.C.U. in Brookhaven Hospital contemplating all the things I’ll never be able to do again. Now I focus on all the things I can. If the definition of the word professional is “having or showing great skill; expert,” then Dr. Steven Leon and his Staff are very professional. It hasn’t gone unnoticed. From the first sight of his caring look and his reassuring voice, I knew Dr. Leon was going to be able to perform some type of surgery which would land me back on my feet some day. It was always a good feeling when my nurse “Kate” (an Angel), told me Dr. Leon, Dr. Bohensky or Dr. Prichep was coming to see me. Although I am not completely healed yet, I am in physical therapy with the hope of getting back to a normal life and being able to take care of myself. I know there are many things I can no longer enjoy doing due to my new physical disabilities, but thanks to the medical attention I received from you I will be able to find new ones. For this I am thankful. I am not a professional writer, but I hope that somewhere in this letter I was able to express my warm and caring feeling for an extremely well done job. It hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Thank you is not enough for all you did for our dad. Although this is a difficult time for us – your kindness and compassion not only to our dad, but to us, has helped us through. God Bless each of you!

Always in our hearts because of everything you do for us. Thank you for always doing everything in your power to help us and be there for us.

Thank you and your staff for the fine care afforded my father. It’s an honor to call you a colleague.

Thank you for your acupuncture treatments that relieved my knee pain. After going through the agony of a knee replacement, I had thought my three years of suffering would be relieved but it wasn’t until I came to you. I wish I had met you earlier and could have avoided a major surgery.

Please accept this copy of my latest publication as a sign of my love and appreciation for all the medical care given to me, before, during and after my surgery. As you read this book may the Holy Spirit lead you to always find love, joy, peace as you collaborate with Christ in his healing ministry. God loves you, I love you, God bless you.
